How to Cook a Rack of Lamb

Ingredients for Rack of Lamb

Salt & Pepper
Hand full of bread
English Mustard
Spice for lamb

The Cut of Meat

For this particular dish, we have used a French trimmed piece of lamb.

Seasoning the Meat

Stand the meat up so that the ribs are interlocking on a roasting dish. Spice the meat with any seasoning you prefer. For this dish, a home made spice made up of rosemary, black pepper, garlic, onion & flavoured salts.

Cooking the Meat

Pre heat your oven to 180 degrees celsius and place the oven dish in for 10min.

Crusting for the Lamb

In an electric blender, place a handful and a half of parsley, a bit of thyme, a bit of rosemary, handful of bread and blend until you have a fine consistency.

Remove the lamb from the oven and apply the english mustard to the outside of the lamb with a brush. Apply the herb crusting made earlier on top of the mustard sauce.

Place in the oven for a further 5-8 min.
